The 2016 Nurburgring 24 Hours race last weekend was affected by some of the craziest weather the Ring has ever seen.
The weather is hardly ever perfect for the annual 24-hour endurance race, but this year it was on a whole new level. Over a short time frame of a few minutes, the weather went from sunny and dry to a hailstorm that actually red flagged the race for four hours.
